This week we started to look at measurement! What is measurement? Where do we use it? What information can it give us ? For a bit of fun we traced around our hands and feet and then measured them to see how long they are.
Learning to use a ruler and read the numbers was all a big learning experience but we all had fun.
Perhaps students could measure things around their homes – in centimetres,
and then compare those to how big their hand and feet measurements are?
